How does the bookmark function work?

The bookmark function is designed to remember where your employees left off in their training should they get interupted while taking a course and have to leave it before taking the final exam. When the employee logs in and enters their employee name, it will provide him/her the option of restarting the course from the beginning or continuing where he/she left off.

Why didn't the bookmark function work?

Because it uses the local computer's internet cache/memory to store the bookmark data, the bookmark function is computer-specific. This means that if a student leaves off on a course at a computer at work and logs in onto that same course at a home computer later that night, the bookmark will not remember course progresss from the work computer. The employee must use the same PC for it to remember any unfinished course progress. (However, courses are 100% fully operational from any internet-connected computer in the world.)

In addition, the bookmark remembers individual course progress by using the employees name as it is spelled. If an employee mispells his/her name or rearranges his/her name entry, the bookmark will not work. Please advise employees to type in their name the same time everytime they log in.

How do I retake a course?

After a course is completed, quiz and exam answers remain recorded as part of the bookmark function. If you are access the course from a course menu, simply opt for the "Retake course from the beginning" option when you enter your name.

However, if you are already in a course and would like to retake it, simply hit the "CLEAR" button located on the bottom right of the course under the course navigation bar. Then, refresh the page by hitting the refresh button at the top of your browser. This will erase any previously answered data and allow you to retake the course.

What is the Test Out Function?

The Test Out function allows you to skip past course content and go directly to the course final exam. This is offered as an alternative for experienced financial institution employees who may already have a firm grasp of the topics covered in the programming and simply want to take the final exam. If at any point, the employee changes his/her mind and decides to view course content, he/she can simply use the navigation bar to the right of the course to pick an entry point into the study material.

Why can't I view the video content?

There are several reasons why this may happen.

One, your bank's IT department may have set certain restrictions that do not allow for any video content viewing from your institution's computers. A good way to check this is to go to a site such as YouTube or Hulu and see if you can see any video content from that page. If not, your IT department may need to make some adjustments to the internet security/restrictions to allow for video playback.

Two, your internet connection and/or computer capabilities may not meet the minimums needed for playback. Please go to our Technical Requirements page to view system requirements and to use a free tool to test your internet connection speed.

Three, you may need to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. If this is the case, you will be prompted to do so when you log into a course. Follow the instructions to install the player.

If you have examined all of these reasons and our technical requirements page and you are still having issues playing video, please contact us.

Do I need to buy additional internet lines? Will this slow down my internet connection?

Course and video content are streamed from a streaming server host and have been optimized for easy playback that is comparable to sites such as YouTube or Hulu. Please check our Technical Requirements page to see detailed information about playback and to test your internet connection speed.

While we have gone through great lengths to ensure that playback will not burden your internet connections, it is impossible to factor in every possible internet connection, server, PC, security settings and other technical aspects that could potentially affect internet speeds at the thousands of financial institutions we serve nationwide. To avoid any technical issues, please feel free to take advantage of a FREE TRIAL to test out the system on your institution's computers.

If you are having any technical issues, please contact both us and your IT department. We will work hard to make sure you have the best possible playback available.

Why Can't I Log In/ My Log in Doesn't Work

There could be several reasons:

1. Some systems require that log in information is case sensitive. Be sure you accurately enter log in information as it was provided.

2. Your membership may have expired. Please check with the person responsible for acquiring training at your financial institution to make sure it hasn't expired.

3. Typos. Please be sure to enter log in information accurately.

If you are still having issues logging in, please contact us.

How do I prevent my employees from cheating?

Because our final exams are based on content learned from the video content, it is impossible to print out course content and refer to it to answer questions. In addition, because course content is engaging, award-winning video with interactive elements, employees are less likely to want to find shortcuts.

Once answers are registered for quizzes and exams, the answers registered are locked and can not be changed. This prevents the student from backtracking and simply "clicking their way" to the correct answer. If an employee fails a course, they are able to go in and retake the course from the beginning.

Are pop quiz answers graded as part of my final exam score?

No, pop quiz answers are not factored in and recorded as part of the final exam score that is shown on your course report. Only the Final Exam questions are graded and tallied.

Does this product have tracking and reporting features?

After an employee completes an exam, he or she can easily print out a Course report that shows the student's name, course taken, exam score and date taken.

Does each student need a login and password?

All students at your institution will login using the bank/credit union's global login and password. Individual employees do not need a unique employee login and password to access the site. So every employee will use the same login and password to access the site.

Can an employee save their course progress should they get interrupted?

Yes. Our innovative bookmark function will remember where a student left off on a course and, when the student logs back into the course, will automatically bring them to the last page they visited. The bookmark function works by remembering the employee name that was entered at the start of the course.
